Okhyeon-ri¡¯s name originated from the combination of Okgu-ri and Songhyeon-ri.  Okhyeon-3-ri of Jije-myeon cultivates rice using Duckling Method and uses [Loveme] brand name to sell its organic rice nationwide.  Loveme Village is also renowned for its oyster mushrooms.  In order to introduce Okhyeon-3-ri village¡¯s quality rice, we named the village [Loveme (me: rice) Village].Since 2003, Gyeonggi Rice Research Institute and Yangpyeong-gun Rice Love Association have helped us produce organic rice using Duckling Method.  Loveme Village is a typical farm village at which most villagers do farming for a living.  Jipyeong oyster mushrooms, one of our local specialties, are processed within the village and a considerable number of villagers are cultivating oyster mushrooms.  Okhyeon-3-ri¡¯s oyster mushrooms are sold nationwide through Yangpyeong-gun Distribution Center. Loveme Village is only one hour away from Seoul and is a great place to enjoy the beauty of nature and the scent of hometown. Okhyeon-3-ri seems like a typical farm village from a glance, but it is filled with various things to eat and see.  Some of its attractions include Wolsan Reservoir, Horseback-riding Club, Mirinae Camp, Art Museum, and recreation park.  It is a perfect location for a weekend getaway.
