Bongseogol Village
Bongseogol village, which is located at Ganjung-ri, Wanju County, Jeollabuk-do, is made up with Dogye village and Wonganjung village. It is named after Temple Bongseo in Mt. Seobang near here.
Buan Huchon Village
Huchon Village is located about 500m away from Julpo-myeon and five minutes from Seohaean Highway Julpo I.C. and is the gateway to Julpo on National Highway No. 23. The ecological park by Julpo Reservoir sees beautiful blooms year-round.
Buan Unho village
Unho (Cloud Lake) Village refers to a village with a lake made of clear clouds.
Dongha Village
Welcome to Internet Kotmaul (Village of Flowers)!! Flowers are the very life of our village, enough so that we introduce our village as 'Kotmaul' (Village of Flowers). The well-known Cheolchukje (Rhododendron Festival) is held annually around the Baraebong in the village is one of the most popular festivals attracting 500,000 visitors every year. In Dongha Maul, most of the residents are engaged in the cultivation of flowers so that flowers are not merely flowers but a way of life.
Eoryang Village
Eoryang Village contacts Yeongdong-myeon, Nangsan-myeon and Gunsan Okgu Plains to the west; Yeosan-myeon and Mangyeng River to the southeast; City of Nonsan by Ganggyeong Stream, which is a tributary to Geum River, to the east; and Nonsan-gun and Buyeo-gun by Geum River to the north. It is where long and ample history still lives.
Gamgol Village
Dongsang Gamgol Village where the 8 productions, 8 views and 8 taste of Wanju are concentrated is surrounded by heavenly resources to be Korea’s one of best tourists’ attractions. The tourists’ markers such as Daea Arboretum, Daea Reservoir and Unjang Mountain Valleys and the events of painted maple saps in spring and persimmon collecting and drying in autumn and winter are always interesting to the tourists who visit the village.
Gimje Surokgol village
Located in the northern part of Gimje, Surokgol Village is a clean village with a mountain and broad farms and fields.
Gochang Gosari village
In Gosari Village, the waters from the valleys of Mt. Songrim of Gongeum-myeon Gochang-gun form Duam Reservoir and each valley is covered with pine trees, Alnus hirsute, and Japanese angelica trees. Also, this is a clean and clear area where natural fernbrake grows.
Gochang Seonggi Bokbunja Village
Seonggi Bokbunja Village is zoned in Seongsan-ri Asan-myeon Gochang-gun of Jeollabuk-do for administration and is adjacent to Mt. Seonun Provincial Park.
Gochang goindol village
Goindol Village at Dosan-ri Gochang-eup Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk is about 2km away from Gochang IC and is easily accessible from the highway. The Goindol Park, a world cultural heritage, is only 1km away from the village and attracts many tourists to the region.
Gunsan SinSi-Do Seom Village
Old Gunsan Isles is comprised of 16 dwelled islands and 47 deserted islands. The largest island among all is Sinsi-do Seom Village. This place was Gunsan Base of the naval forces during the Joseon Dynasty and has been called Old Gunsan since when Gunsan Base was transferred to today’s Gunsan by Joseon King Sejong.
Hajeon Tidal wetlands village
Hajeon Tital Wetlands Village located in Hajeon-ri, Simwon-myeon, Gochang, Jeonbuk contacts 10km-long shoreline with 1200ha of open wetlands. It is one of 100 beautiful fishery villages appointed by Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. The broad wetlands are Korea's best producer of baby clams. It is great not only to catch baby clams at the open seas with sea scent and cool winds, but also to enjoy wetlands sports such as mud soccer.
Hwangto Village
Gimje Hwangto village located in the northeast side by 18 km far from Gimje still has the homeliness of countryside as well as plenty of generosity. The village is bordered on the east by Iseo-Myeon, Wanju County, on the west by Baeksan-Myeon and Gongdeok-Myeon, on the south by Geumgu-Myeon and Hwansan-Myeon, and on the north by Baekgu-Myeon.
Iksan Duyeo Village
Duyeo Village is adjacent to Honam Highway and National Highway No. 1 for convenient transportation and is a very livable homey village with a clean stream and endless fields.
Imsil Baksagol Village
Imsil Baksagol Village is a small mountainous village in Samgye-myeon of Imsil-gun. People call this village Baksagol because it has been a birth place of many scholars and doctors. Over 100 scholars and doctors have been born in Samgye-myeon. No other village in Korea has been the home of so many scholars and doctors.
Imsil cheese village
Cheese Village of Imsil in Jeonbuk is about 20km apart from the urban town of Jeonju. Cheese Village is very convenient to access and is the origin of cheese production in Korea.
Jangsu Dongdong Village
Janggye Dongdong Village is warm and lovable village that is located in Mt. Jangan (Mt. Yeongchui), the divider of Mt. Namdeogu from Baekdu Great Mountain Range and Honam Mountain Range. The major traffic routes to visit the village are Daejeon~Tongyeong Highway and Daegu~Gunsan Highway and it is an optimal place to visit from any urban area. It is also an advanced commercial area to which all specialties from vicinities gather for distribution. Also, Dongdong Village is a village of faith and courtesy, being the birth place of Nongae, an icon of fidelity.

Jeonbuk Iksan Doodongpyunbaek village
Jeonbuk Iksan Doodongpyunbaek is a Gibsonchon (Same family name village) with 600 years of history. It is a traditional farm village along with mountains and fields. Administrative location is Sungdang-Myun, Iksan-Si, Jeonbuk.
Jeonbuk Namwon Overpass Gourd Flower Village
The name Overpass Gourd Flower Village came from its view seen from Gyoryung mountain. Gyoryung mountain on the East and Poongak mountain on the West is connected with cloud and the cloud looks like overpass. When the area is called Woongyo when changed into Chinese characters.
Jeongeup Daejeong Organic Farming Green Village
Greetings from the Village Chief Daejeong Organic Farming Green Village is a clean village where about 80 households form a community and that uses Environment friendly agricultural methods. Our Village was the first village in Korea to grow balsam pears and export them to other countries. Our village is a village that takes care of the health of Koreans. Our village is located at a wide plain and we product environment friendly agricultural products such as rice, balsam pears, beans, vegetables, and etc. using only germanium and no other insecticides or fertilizers that contains chemical. Our village is an environment friendly and cutting-edge village that personally cultivates lactobacillus microorganisms, lactic-acid fertilizers, and amino acidic organic-agrichemicals.
Jeonju Hakjeon Village
Hakjeon Village is about 2km2 and is a friendly village with 216 villagers in 74 households. Many urban dwellers long for Hakjeon Village’s clean waters and fresh air from Mt. Moak.
Kanchimel Village
Chango-ri and Sangok-ri of Seongsan-myeon are information villages located in the northern part of Gunsan, Jeollabuk Province. They produce pickled Japanese radish and many pollution-free vegetables. These villages where the old traditions still live are gathered centered by small magpie-shaped Jakchon Village.
Kimjae Nampo Village
This village is located 8km to the west of Kimjae City. Its boundary is Baeksan-myeon to the east, Mangyeong-eup to the north, Juksan-myeon to the south, and Gwanghwal-meyon to the west.
Maisan Village
Maisan Village of Deokcheon-ri, Maryeong-myeon, Jinan, Jeonbuk is composed of 438 villagers in 202 households. In spite of the high-agedness of farm villages, our village is a typical farm village that is relatively composed of many young people who engage in farming. You can enjoy the three specialties of Jinan – ginseng, black pork and Mai Mountains – at Maisan Village.
Mother Village
Mother Village is included in Geumgu-myeon, Gimje and is located 8km east from Gimje. Geumgu-myeon was included in Jeonju-mok in Koryo Dynasty and appointed Geumgu-hyeon in Chosun Dynasty. On Jan 1. 1995, it became the present administration. Mother Village is composed of 2 villages of Sandong-ri, Geumgu (West-Dun and East-Dun) and 4 villages of Nakseonga-ri (Sinheung, Bunto, Sangsa, Sabang).
Muju SkyLand village
SkyLand Village is located at the northeastern tip of Muju of Jeollabuk-do in the center of the Korean Peninsula.
Multonggol Village
Multonggol Village that is surrounded by mountain ranges has very pure waters and produces high-quality nationally-leading products with the pure water. There are relatively many youngsters living in the village, unlike other farm villages, so the atmosphere of our village is very energetic. Also, as it is known as the village of long life, there also are a lot of old-age seniors.
Naejangsan Village
To the east lies Noryung mountain range; from north to south, Mt. Chilbo and Mt. Naejang surrounded Naejang Village like a folding screen. To the west, the city of Jungeup lies in the plain area. Naejang village is about 4km from Jungeup City, and 8km from the Honam Highway.
Namwon Yongjeon Village
Run about 10km on National Highway No. 17 from Namwon, there is a rocky mountain range to the southwest and a broad plain full of well-organized grids of vinyl houses for institutional horticulture. This place of Yongjeon Village of Geumji-myeon of Namwon, the home of strawberries, potatoes, and grapes.
Okjeongho Village
Okjeongho Village of Sannae-myeon, Jeongeup, Jeonbuk is a mid-slope place about 220m above sea level. It is an upstream protection zone and a “non-chemical clean region” maintaining non-damaged natural environment. There are magnificent Okjeong Lake and Seomjin River multi-purpose dam near the village. Also, the villagers are environmentally-friendly farmers and culture wild flowers for the tourists and experience activities.
Saseonnyeo Village
This village contains the legendary saseonnyeo. Fruit farms have prospered at Saseonnyeo village in Gwanchon because it is high elevation The level of sugar in the fruits is high due to the big gap between the highest temperature and the lowest. The village’s red peppers, which are the indigenous product of Saseonnyeo village, have a good taste in spite of their ugly shape. The village is also famous for its clear water and beautiful landscape. The people in this area are good-hearted, too.
Seodu Village
You are now in Seodu Maul - a village on the plain at the foot of Mt. Bongshil! Thank you for visiting our village. The name of 'Seodu' was given as the mountain at the back of the village resembles the head of a mouse. Administratively, the village belongs to Bongdong-eup, Wanju-gun in JeonBuk province, which is next to Jeonju and Samrye-eup. Nearby, the Samrye IC and a four-lane highway in front of the village add traffic convenience to the rural scenery.

Sunchang Gochujang Village
Sunchang-eup used to be known as Mokcheon of Mahan at the age of three han and as Dosil, one of the Sokryung in Baekje. During the Lee Dynasty it was named Sunchang. Sunchang was promoted from-myeon to eup as of May 1, 1979.
Sunchang Sannaedeul Village
Sannaedle Village is located in Ssangchi-myeon 32km to the northwest of Sunchang-gun and is a warm mountainous village that borders Jeongeup-si, Imsil-gun, and Damyang-gun
Wanju Wanchang Village
Wanchang Village was originally a part of Undongsang-myeon in Gosan-gun, but was renamed Wanchang-ri of Unseon-myeon as Wanchang-ri and Eommok-ri was combined with Anha-ri of Undongha-myeon in 1914. It was again renamed Unju-myeon in 1935. The village is called Wonwanchang (元完昌. 完倉) and partially Gochangmal, Banghwangdong, or Saeteo. Wonwanchang adds “Won”, which means a top village, to the original Wanchang-ri. Wanchang Village has a small stream to the right about 2km toward Mt. Daeun (Mt. Geum) on a national highway through Unju-meyon. This stream is called Okgyecheon as it is a vein of clear water through luxurious forests of Mt. Cheondeung from the southeast and Mt. Daedun from the northwest. To the north of the village is Anshim Temple that was established in the 7th year of the reign of Shilla Queen Seondeok (638 B.C.) and Okgyecheon’s waters are called Cheongryeongcheon that cools down many urban dwellers’ heat of summer every year. The spirit of Mt. Daedun is delivered to all farm produces of Wanchang Village. The village also provides special experience programs for the urban dwellers to learn about farm lifestyles and makes additional income.
Wondong orchard Village
Orchard village is full of the fragrance of fruit Wondong, which is located west of Jeonju, appears after you pass by Jeonju Tree Garden. It is laid out like a traditional village which is amazing because it as because it is located in the city, it has the shape of a traditional orchard village
banam_Origin of the village
Banam was established by Dalsung Seo family who came to Banam in 14th century at the end of Goryu. The political chaos in the late Goryu was also affecting the mind of people in Banam. This was because the chaos caused many gangs of bandits to appear in Banam village, harassing the villagers and plundering their grains.
horongbul_Village Introduction
In the Josun dynasty, the nine villages from Gigok to Jinpyung of the present Seolchunmyun Jangbaek-ri Muju-eup were the sites of Shinpoong-myun, which was divided into the same administrative district It was called "Teoil" for it was the best spot in the area and in late Josun, the name changed to Gisanchon. In 1914 all the areas of Shinpoong-myun except Jangbaek-ri was transferred to Seolchun-myun and, together with Munam village known as "Moonbawoo", Gigok was transferred to Gigok-ri, the administrative district, which brings us to today.
