Altosan Village

Sangye Village
Sangye Maul located in the western end of Seoguipo is small, but the very place where you can experience the essence of Jeju Island. Located within the village is the Jungmun Tourist Resort that is full of natural mystic wonder, the International Convention Center, Jungmun Beach, Yeomiji - Asian's largest greenhouse, and the awesome pillar-shaped rock formations along the coast to the east. Also, to the north of the village there is Daeyu Land, an exotic tourist resort, equipped with horse-riding trails, a pheasant hunting ground and a rifle range.

olpyeong-dong is located to the south of Halla Mountains, so has relatively moderate climate and less wind within Jeju Island. As the average temperature of each village is unknown, direct comparison of villages is impossible. However, the lands between Jungmun and Seoguipo are least windy and moderate to be recognized as the best for greenhouse-cultivation of bananas, pineapples and flowers. |
