Introducing Saldun Village
Saldun Village is a clean region located by the upstream of Naerincheon Stream in Nae-myeon Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do.  Well-known for its beautiful landscapes, this village is surrounded by Sutdol Peak, a 1,444m-high peak which divides Inje-gun and Hongcheon-gun as a stem of Mt. Bangtae.  The area round the mountain is called Samdunsagari, including Saldun, Woldun, and Daldun to the south and Achimgari, Yeongari, Jeokgari, and Myeongjigari to the north.
Saldun Village was widely introduced to Korea by Saldun Cabin.  Saldun Cabin is one of the 100 most beloved cabins in Korea.  The eye-catcher is the cabin’s unique architecture which combines Korean traditional log cabin, Japanese architecture, and temple architecture in a two-story structure.
Saldun Village’s major specialties are soybean, pepper, cucumber, Napa cabbage, potato, native honey, painted maple sap, and soybean blocks and paste.
