Andong Nokjeon Native Village
Nokjeon Native Village is includes Woncheon-1-ri, Woncheon-2-ri, Marjeong-ri, and Sacheon-ri. Our village is the northernmost edge of Andong and borders Bonghwa-gun and Yeongju City. As 75% of the village is covered with mountainous areas, it has only small pieces of farmlands, but the people here are warmer and more sharing and full of laughter than those from any other villages.
Andongpo Village
"Clink, Click! Clank, Click!" Andongpo Village generates the sound of looms throughout the year. Located 14km southeast of downtown Andong, Andongpo Village is inhabited by Lim Family of Yecheon and Uljin. Various relics and old anthologies are remained in the village. The specialties of the village include Andong Hemp, Clean Apples, Watermelons and facilitated vegetables. Andong Hemp that was used to serve the Kings in the old times is especially popular.
Baegam Hot Spring Village
From Pyunghae (national road 7) go on the local road 88 for Subi, Yeongyang for about 20 minutes and you can get there. Originally it was the area of Wonseo Myeon, Pyeonghae Gun and is called Onjeong(溫井) meaning the warm well or warm spring which was there. It was combined with Nama Li into Onjung Li according the administrative district integration policy in 1916. And then it was integrated into Onjung-Myeon, Uljin County.

Cheongdo Sindo New Village Origination Village
Shindo Village is located 7km apart from Cheongdo-gun toward Milyang on National Highway No.25. Gyeongbu Railroad and Cheongdo Stream passes by the village and the mountains to the southwest part of the village makes it easier to visit and fertile. It has been widely known as the origination of New Village Movement since the 1970s.
Chilgok Kumnam Cucumber Flowery Hill Village
It is called Kumnam as it is located to the south of Geummu Mountains and was originally a part of Nogok of Chilgok, but was transferred to Waegwan by the administrative reorganization in 1914.
Chunnyangmok Pine-mushroom Village
Chunyang Seobyeog, Dosim are the clean and comfortable villages in which Nakdong River and Namhan River splits and there are Ungok Stream and Dunae Medicinal water. Also the villages are famous for Chunyangmok and Pine-Muchroom Over 90% of the villagers are engaged in farming, living in the mountainous area adjacent to Yeongwol, Gangwon-do in Teabeak Mountains.
Doheung Melon Village
Dohung-ri lies at the eastern edge of Seongju-gun, Kyoungsangbuk-do. About 400 households are currently living in this village which is the gateway to Seongju-gun. It has wide fields stretching along the Nackdong River and picturesque scenery. In this village boasting of wide fields and rich soil, melons are planted in October and harvested from March to September the following year. The taste and quality of melons produced in this village are the best available thanks to the thick soil bed, rich underground water, sufficient sunshine and skill of the farmers at ecofriendly techniques that they have accumulated over the past 60 years.
Dongan Honeybee-melon Village
Dongan Ri comes of itself collectively from the open fields. On the North it passes Saya and Gyori, on the West it comes in contact with Boksung Ri bounded by the Kyŏngbu Railroad line, and on the South, there is Yakmok plain back on Doman River.
Euiseong Jadu village
Gido-ri of Anpyeong-myeon is located about 14km to the west of Euiseong-gun Office. More than 78% of it is covered with woods and fields, but the Oh Family of Haeju first settled here about 400 years ago. About 104 first settlers in 40 households from the Oh Family of Haeju, the Kim Family of Gimhae, and the Jang Family of Suncheon have beautifully organized the paths and surrounding environments. The local people today are strongly dedicated to increasing their income and achieving informatization.
Eunjagol Village
Eunjagol is surrounded with Seongjubong and Hawngryung Eunja mountain which has a thick forest and clear water, having the Hwangryung brook run through it. Eunjagol‘s correct name of administrative district is Eunchuk myun, Euisung gun. The following story shows how the name was made.

Geumosan chalsalbori Village
The villagers are living in nature which makes Oro-ri the best village to live in with its scent of hometown. There is the wide plain around Nakdong river and Gam-cheon (stream) therefore, the villagers are mainly engaged in rice farming and cultivate vegetables like watermelons and radishes that grow perfectly in fall as well. They raise organic glutinous barley on sand-field around Nakdong river.
Gigye Village
Gigye village is famous for its clean water and air. This village has very good natural conditions for farming such as Euncheonji(a lake) near the village, farming fields and orchards built there, well-drained soil and abundant sunlight.

Goryeong Strawberry Village
Goryeong Anrim Strawberry Village is a region worthy of praise, establishing a magnificent culture against the green energy of Mt. Gaya's Youngbong(Mountaintop) and the clear aquamarine color of Hoecheon. The melody of Ureuk, which continued the history of Daegaya (Great Gaya), the high level of integrity maintained by the ancient sages and the wisdom of the ancestors, which overcame national crises, are the preserving powers of this region.

Gumi Silla Buddhist Chojeonji Village
It was originally called Damok, but it was changed into ‘Dalmok’ or ‘Darang’ since residents welcomed the first full moon in 15th day of the First Full Moon.
Gunwi Palgongsan Apple Village
Palgongsan Apple Village is called Hwangcheong-ri. It was founded by Gang Family of Jinju in late Koryo Dynasty and was called Bunam. Later, it was named Hwangcheon-ri after its autumn leaves and pure waters of the valley, as Jin Family and Choi Family settled here. Currently, it is the center of Hong Family of Burim.

Hahoe Village
Hahoe Village is shaped like the Taeguk, or a lotus flower floating on water. The Nackdong River flows around this village in an S shape. Across the river to the south stands Mt. Nam, which is part of the Ilweol mountain range of Youngyang-gun. To the rear of the village is Mt. Hwa, which is part of the Taebaek mountain range and slopes mildly to the back yard of Chunghyodang in the center of the village.
Hoelyongpo Village
Hoelyongpo Village of Yonggung-myeon, Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk Province is located about 17km west of downtown Yecheon and borders the city of Mungyeong. Naeseong and Geum Rivers, the tributaries of Nakdong River flows to the north and west to form fertile farmlands great for rice, watermelon and squash farming. Also, it is well-known for the cultural attractions such as Hoelyongpo, Jangan Temple, Yonggung Lecture Hall and Hwangmokgeun.
Homigot Village
The East Sea, touching one side of the Korean peninsula, is fabulous. It can be seen in South Korea from its coastline stretching from the Reunification Observatory at Goseong, Kangwon-do to Busan. This coastline has many wonderful sites worth visiting, including Kangrung Gyeongpodae, Jeongdongjin Station, which became a famous romantic station thanks to a TV drama 'Sandglass,' Chuam in Samcheok and Gangu Port. Nevertheless, Homigot might be the best place to visit the east coastline.

Juwangsan Apple Village
The name “Budong-myeon" means east of Cheongsongbu. Its pristine natural landscape formed by Juwangsan National Park, Jusanji, Jeolgol and the sparkling water running through its deep valleys makes Budong-myeon seem like a paradise on earth. Thanks to its proximity to the "Yeongdeok Ocean Zone" to the east, Budong is emerging as a popular tourist destination. Additionally, more travelers are visiting Juwangsan National Park via Eoreumgol because it is so easily accessible from Yeongdeok.

Midae/Naedong
"Midae/Naedong Maul," is pioneering ecofriendly farming at Mt. Palgong in Dong-gu, Daegu city and is close to Mt. Palgong Park, Gat Bawi (hat rock), and Donghwasa (temple). It is also the historic site of General Sung-gyeom Shin (posthumous name is Jangjeolgong), who was a faithful subject to Geon Wang, the founder and first king of the Goryeo Dynasty. Because this region is in the green belt and the tap water protection zone, development has been delayed. The clean environment has been preserved thanks to restrictions placed on development.
Moheung Hwangto Village
The name Gucheon-myeon comes from Gucheon Seowon (Seowon – A lecture hall and a memorial hall for Confucian services to honor distinguished scholars and statesmen). The seowon built in the Kyeongjong’s 1st year of the Lee dynasty in 1972 was destroyed in the seowon abolition ordered by Daewongun. Now only the small tombstone called ‘Yunsunsaengpanmaeso’ is left.
Mungyeong Saejae Palyeong Apple Village
Mungyeong Saejae Palyeong Apple Village borders Chungcheongbuk Province and is by the provincial park of Mungyeong Saejae and national parks of Worak and Songni Mountains with beautiful sceneries. More than 80% of the households engage in apple production. Palyeong Apples are produced in huge diurnal difference of temperatures and soil of limestone of Sobaek Mountain Chain to have firm fruits and great taste and scents. There are Mungyeong Saejae, KBS broadcasting sets and Mungyeong Hot Springs, Korea’s only recreational hot springs nearby along with the heavenly natural environment surrounded by Juheul Mountains.
Pohang Hak Village
Our village is a Gyeongsangbuk-do-designated “environmentally-friendly village" that is surrounded by Mt. Hibak (762m above sea level; resembles a flying crane), which has been frequently visited and inhabited by many cranes, and that has valleys of clear streams and luxurious forests.
Pohang Sangok Slow Village
Sangok is the first village below Hyangro Peak, the highest point of Yeongilman Bay. The village is sitting on a high basin 400m in altitude above sea level.

Subi Sanchon Village
It has clean natural environment with great scenery and clean water located in canyon area in Teabak mountains, Yongyang Kyungbuk. Subi also has abundant tourism resources such as valleys, recreation forests and spa and is well-known for Yongyang pepper.
Sungju Jangsan Dream Village
Jangsan Dream Village is located on the southwestern point of Gyeongbuk. The terrain is mostly round and borders Daegu, Dalseong-gun, and Chilgok-gun to the east, Gimcheon and Geochang of Gyeongnam to the west, Goryeong-gun and Hapcheon of Gyeongnam to the south, and Gimcheon and Chilgok-gun to the north. The village is located at the crossroad to the north of the capital of Gyeongbuk about 2km to the east of Chojeon-myeon. There are two natural towns in this region: Cheolsan and Jangji.

Yangdong Folk Village
Designated as important cultural property(Important folklore data 189) on December 24th, 1984 and surrounded by Mt. Soelchang in the north of Kyungju City, Yangdong is a historic noble village inherited for 500 years by Kyungju Son great head family and Yoeju Lee great head family.

Yeongcheon Bohyeonsan Starlight Podo Village

Bohyeon Hot Spring Hotel in Oncheon-ri, Shinan Healing Water Spring in Ancheon-3-ri, Jilguji earthenware factory in Geumho-2-ri, Guiae Pavilion in Guiho-2-ri, and Hancheon District Monument next to Sandong Middle and High Schools.
Yeongcheon hanyak Village
Few of herb trader picked medical herb at Chaeyak-Mountine and Bohyeon mountine and started to sell them to other cities in 1950-1960. After time to time, the demands increased sharply and herb traders asked local farmers to farming medical herbs. Then they started to sell the grown herbs and it is the beginning of "Yeongyak Association".
Yeongdeok Crab Village
Crab fishing boats, people busy crabbing at dawn and the smell of boiled crab around Ganggu Harbor. Yeongdeok Crab (snow crab) Village located in Ganggu-Ri, Ganggu-Myeon, Yeongdeok County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is famous for being the main crab producing place in Korea. It is also known for its vitality, its pleasant dialect and the taste of its crab which fascinated a king.

Ibam-myeon Yeongyang-gun of Gyeongbuk, Seonbawi village is located in the southwestern region of Yeongyang-gun and is divided into Heunggu-ri and Bangjeon-ri districts. Seonbawi village borders the Andong city and Cheongsong districts, and thus is an excellent location for trade.

Non-polluted Mountainous Up-country Town 'Cheongryang Mountains Binari Village' 'Cheongryang Mountains Binari Village' coexists with the mountainous villages settled among the mountain ranges. It is characterized by beautiful scenery and clean air, but villagers suffer strong winds and severe coldness in winter. The soils are not very good for farming. Therefore, the villages engage in dry-field culturing and fruit production for jujubes, peppers, apples and minor grains rather than plain farming. As it is a highland, the productions are exceptionally fresh cultivated by the nature.
gokgang spinach
This village is the home of organic spinach, the specialty of Pohang region. In particular, the abundant sunlight, high temperatures throughout the year and well-drained oceanic sand soil grows high-value spinaches. Their superior quality is recognized, so they are only distributed to major markets and department stores throughout the country. Backed by the blue East Sea, the spinach field spreads the green color. The village has many relics and cultural remains nearby.

It was created as the vicinity villages of Juwangsan National Park located in Cheongsong, Gyeongbuk decided to pursue making a cyber village together. The themes of Juwangsan Cyber Village also known as Apple Village are tourism around Juwang Mountains and clean specialties centered by the apples.
yeongju sobaeksan dansan grape village
Yeongju Sobaeksan Dansan Grape Village is located in the northernmost region of Gyeongbuk and borders Danyang of Chungbuk and Yeongwol of Gangwon to have fluent exchange of human and material resources. It is a clean region to the southeast of Sobaek Mountains with various attractions such as Buseok Temple, Sosu Lecture Hall and Punggi Hot Springs in Sobaeksan National Park. It is known as the producer of Dansan grapes and apples that contain the highest sugar content in Korea.
