SkyLand Village is located at the northeastern tip
of Muju of Jeollabuk-do in the center of the Korean Peninsula. The
village is on a highland 600m above sea level and is surrounded
by mountains that are 1200m or higher, such as Mt. Sambong and Mt.
Daedeok. It is well-known for its heavenly landscapes. The
village adjoins Geochang-gun of Gyeongnam to the south. This
region is included in Baekdu Mountain Range Course Section 6 (Bbaejae¢¦Mt.
Sambong¢¦Samdo Peak¢¦Mt. Daedeok) and is the source of Geum River. Located
in highlands, this village is a good habitat of fireflies. In
August, fireflies can be seen in the beautiful fields. A good
highland shall guarantee fewer insects or diseases while providing
ample sunlight. Our specialties are Napa cabbage, radish,
apple, walnut, Schizandra chinensis, Codonopsis lancerolata, corn,
ginseng, cultured ginseng, etc., and we offer farm cultivation and
harvest experiences. Surrounding attractions are Mt. Deogyu
National Park, 33 Views of Mujugucheondong, Muju Resort, Mt. Jeoksang,
and Mt. Minjujiui. Come to enjoy our experience programs along
with our famous landmarks. You will want to come back.
