Gajo Spa Sightseeing Place Plan started with govnerment approval in 1993 and was temporarily stopped due to bankruptcy of the construction company. In Gajo Spa zone temporarily opened on May 8, 2000, just Baekdoosan Cheonjii Spa (+82-55-941-0271) is opened now. New construction of the motel is being promoted and two shops were prepared nearby.
Although it is humble, there is no inconvenience for enjoying the spa. Further, spa mania which visited here said that its water was better than any other places. This spa is proud of the best water quality in the nation as weak alkali of PH 9.7. The person who enjoyed spa bath here is saying that this water is effective for healing athlete's foot and woman's discoloration.
Within Gajo Spa Zone, there is no accommodation yet. However, there is no inconvenience for accommodation because 3 inns providing 40 rooms are nearby. It is possible to predict full opening of Gajo Spa. Geochang Gun says that they will select other investors and finish this project after solving the problem of bankrupt company that is in legal management. If project is finished, complex resort facility including hotel, sports facility and recreation facility will be established here.
