Sinam Reservoir was a
restricted area for protection until a while ago.Today, it is open to visitors. The reservoir has formed with the clean
waters from Mt.Gamak.Fishing here
is fun because the fish is very strong. Frequently caught fish includes freshwater
tilapia, carp, and crucian carp. By the road,
there is a parking lot that holds about 50.There are shops and restaurants nearby, also. Being one of the two reservoirs beneath Mt.
Gamak (the other is Wondang Reservoir), this is a good place to gather
fernbrake and Aster scaber in spring and pick mountain berries, wild garlic,
and chestnuts in fall.Many families
come here on weekends to fish and to hike on Mt.Gamak.
