CheongCheon lake is located at Boryeong city which has the largest beach in the West Sea. This U shaped lake was built in Sep, 1960 and very famous for big fish fishing in the Chungnam area.

 The 840 thousand pyeong lake has a wonderful landscape and deep water, and it is very quite, so it is the best place for fishing. You can fish here during all seasons; however, the best time is in October. The lake between the embankment and Jangsan-ri area (Left side) is narrow and deep, so the water grass is tall, however, Hyangcheon-ri area (Right side) is wide and shallow, and so the water grass is spread out. The left side is for summer and fall, and the right side is for spring to winter including ice fishing.
