Dodamsambong
In the leisurely flow of Namhan River, three rocky peaks rises
centered on a 6m tall vigorous Janggunbong (Nampyeonbong). The
one on the north is called Cheobong and the other on the south is
called Cheopbong.
Jung, Do-Jeon, a meritorious servant during the foundation of
the Joseon Dynasty, loved this place and called himself Sambong.
According to a legend, Cheopbong resembles a lady who is facing
her back toward her husband who found a mistress to bear a son.
It is truly astonishing how our ancestors gave it such a great
name for its looks.
