Changnyeong museum exhibit about seven hundreds antiquities of 240 kinds mainly collected from old tombs like Gyodonggobun, Songhyundonggobun, Gyesunggobun in Changnyeong area such as weapons, horse equipments, earthen vessels, accessories, Geumdongjaetugakkwanmo from the prehistoric age to Gaya era. As an old land of Gaya, the area has many cultural antiquities kept and its long history as called the second Khyngju. On the eastern mountain of Gyodonggobunkun, there is Mokmasansung. There is an old tomb and a sitting statue of a stone Buddha in Songhyundong. In the southeast area, there is Manokjung park, where 5 pieces of cultural assets including Jinheungwangchukkyungbi, the 33rd national treasury, are kept and there is Changnyeong an old tomb in the west, there are only 7 nationwide. Besides them, the downtown of Changnyeong keeps a lot of cultural antiquities including the 34th national treasury, Dongsamcheung stone tower in Suljung-ri so that people can learn a large amount of history in a short time. |
