Mangilsan

This is a mountain (302m) in Daesun-eup, which had dense forest in 1940s, so the inhabitants was reluctant to go near there, and after liberation, some indiscreet people indulged in reckless deforestation and secret felling of trees.

On Hosanrok, old Seosan-gun archives, it says there is Mangilsa at the top of Mangilsan, and stones are piled around Guksadang at the peak and a iron horse, about 2-chi-long lies down, however it declined now, only traces remain.

There is an Air Force Radar base at the top of Mangilsan.

It is the first radar base of Korean army and it has been said that the ex-President Park Chung-hee constructed it with a special affection.
