[Mt. Bokju Recreational
Forest]
 Introduction
Mt.
Bokju recreational forest of Cheolwon, Gangwon-do is a recreational
forest located on the north edge of Mt. Bokju in Jamgok-ri, Geunnam-myeon
which is the interior from Cheolwon, and opened in June 2003.
Going up the mountain along the walking path from recreational
forest, a clean and pure valley is outspread, which is Yongtanggol.
This is a valley in the thick forest, so you can feel a calm comfort.
Mt. Bokju recreational forest is a recreational forest not many
days passed since open, so there is not yet other facilities or
attractions except forest culture recreation center which is an
accommodation, and valleys and forests.
However, there are many glorious views such as Sanghae valley,
Yaksadong valley headed by Maewoldae waterfall in the circumstance,
so it is a good place to visit with outing the circumstance.
There are 10 rooms of 9 p'yongs size in forest culture recreation
center, the accommodation. The lodging charge is 55,000won a day.
The admission fees are 1,000 won for adults, 600 won for juveniles
and 300 won for children and the parking charge is 3,000 won.
