1. Mt. Baekma

When you look to your Northeast direction (direction to Pyochung Temple) from Miryang Dam, Gorye Village or Pyeong-ri Village, you can see a high mountain peak.  The mountain that is stretched under the mountain peak is called Mt. Baekma.  Hyangno Mountain Peak is located at the southern part of Mt. Baekma and takes about an hour by car to get there.  Since Hyangno Mountain Peak does not offer good views and tourist attractions, there are not that many people who hike up to the mountain peak.  On the Northeast ridge of Mt. Baekma and Southern mountain peaks, you can see a stone wall.  This stone wall is well preserved and is called Baengmasanseong.  Trees and rocks are harmonized at the ridge of the mountain and offers great scenery.  Also, you can see the Miryang Dam on the South, Mt. Hyangno on the North closely, and enjoy the sceneries of the range of mountains of Mt. Geumo and Mt. Yeongchwi on the West and East.  Mt. Baekma faces Mt. Hyangno and if you follow the trails it will only take an hour to hike to the other mountain.  If you look at Mt. Baekma from Miryang Dam, Mt. Baekma looks to be a very rocky cliff but actually the mountain peak is flat and has gentle slope.  However the northern part of the trail is very steep and has many rocks so you should be careful when hiking up this trail.

2. Sajapyeong

Sajapyeong of Mt. Jaeyak in Gyeongsangnam-do Miryang-si is the biggest pampas grass field.  You will be amazed at the magnificent sceneries of Sajapyeong pampas grass field in November when the pampas grass is in full bloom.  Also known as ¡°Wave of fall in an open field¡±, the scenery of Sajapyeong has been the 8 must-see sceneries of Mt. Jaeyak.  The dazzling view that

Sajapyeong offers surpass the sceneries of cherry blossom in Spring or autumnal tints.  Therefore, Sajapyeong is one of the famous tourist attractions among other pampas grass fields and is a tourist attraction that attracts the most people in the so-called Yeongnam Alps area.
