Cypress Tree

 Cypress tree is a family of Oriental arbor vitae and commonly called as Chamaecyparis. It is upright pyramid shape and branches are horizontally grown for its beauty. It is special Japanese species that is called Hinoki and it is strong, light and soft in property. It also has high preservation feature to have artificial plantation on the some south part of Korea. The timber has great scent and shine to be used for bathroom or high class residential construction. It also has great sound adjustment feature to be popularly used for interior of music hall.

Due to recent sensitive issue of pollutions and endocrine disruptors, general public¡¯s interest to Cypress tree has significantly enhanced. Especially Cypress trees are highly effective for removal of formaldehyde, antibiotic, enhancement of immunity, prevention of atopy and allergies with phytoncide that is produced much more than pine trees or white pine tree.

Phytoncide was first asserted by microbiologist S.A Waksman who is Nobel prize winner for medicine. The purpose of forest bath we take is absorbing this Phytoncide.
