Cheongok cave, the only natural cave located in the downtown
of city, is a horizontal limestone with
1,400m in length and was created 400-500 million years ago.
It has an academic value and primitive mystery with the longest
Cheonjeong Karren,
curtain shaped stalactite, tufa terrace, stalactite fall and
precious rocks. As the inside of cave
is consisted of 20 kind s of second products including
stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars, so it
has the best condition for a research center to provide
the chance studying earth science.
