Sobaek Mountains National Park is administratively located on Yeongju and Bonghwa of Gyeonbuk, Danyang of Chungbuk and is one of Korea's 12 noted mountains. It was appointed 18th National Park of Korea in Dec. 1987. The total area is 322.383§´ with 173.56§´ being in Gyeongbuk and 148.823§´ being in Chungbuk. Many continuous summits include Biro Summit (1,439m), Gungmang Summit (1,421m), 1st Yeonhwa Summit (1,394m), 2nd Yeonhwa Summit (1,357m), Dosol Summit (1,314m), Sinseon Summit (1,389m), Hyeongje Summit (1,177m) and Myojeok Summit (1,148m) and these harmonize to form grandeur and soft mountain scenery.
