¡á Yongdu Beach

Yongdu Beach Location: Nampo-myeon Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do Yongdu
Beach is a year-round family resort surrounded by a luxurious pine
forest. It is so well-preserved that it has been designated
as Chungcheong-do wild life observation zone. Yongdu Beach is
about 5km apart from Daecheon Beach of Boryeong. The road
to Yongdu Beach from Downtown Boryeong is very impressive. On
your way to the beach, you will pass Nampo Embankment which is occupied
by street shops that sell fresh seafood. You will also find
many couples dating.
There is a fence behind the beach and behind this
fence is a dense forest of pine trees covering the sky. There
are many good camping grounds inside the forest, making it the perfect
destination for a family vacation.
The local people have made great efforts to create
good parking lots, showers, and restroom facilities. It used
to only have a few visitors even in summer, but many people have
recognized its beauties these days. There is a Labor Welfare
Center called Dongbaekgwan at the parking lot, and it offers lodging
and various amenities. Dongbaekgwan gives a 30% discount to
employees of businesses with four or more employees. In order
to benefit from this discount, you must present a proof of medical
insurance, employee ID, or verification of enrollment. This
place also has beautiful natural environments that are protected
as Chungcheong-do wild life observation zone. The beach is
about 1km in length and has a moderate grade.
