Designated as : Cultural Asset No. 168 Name : Yongbongsabudo

Hongseong-gun, Chungnam
This is a pagoda that preserves the relics of the Buddha which
is located in the Yongbong temple; however, the owner of the relics
is unknown. It was in the other place near this temple, however,
it was moved to here in 1910.
The foundation rock
was disappeared and only the stereobate and body is maintained,
however, the sterobate is worn out too much so its shape is not
clear, also the body looks like they put the round ball softly,
and there is nothing special decoration.
The roof stone looks
like it carved with 6 corners; however, those are severely worn
out. A hair decoration, which we guess was on the top, is missing.
It has lost its original shape and also we don¡¯t know when it was
made.
