Characteristics of Cheongsong Peppers Cheongsong peppers are cultivated with organic fertilizers such as mountain greens and compost instead of chemical fertilizers, so they not only produce much fine powder when grinded but also have refreshing taste. They developed a cleaner to clean the peppers and obtained “Quality Certificate” from National Agricultural Products Inspection Center in 1993 for the first time in Korea. With huge diurnal difference of temperatures and abundant sunlight, Cheongsong peppers are bright in color with proper spiciness and high sugar level.
