Fermented Foods
Soybean, barley, wheat, and rice can all be made into fermented foods using different methods.  Fermented soybean comes in two types but we only use the kind made with steamed, mashed, and shaped soybean nowadays. In Korea, soybean paste is fermented in salty water.  From this, the soybean block is used as soybean paste and the juice is used as soy sauce.  
Soybean blocks come in various types, including the ones for soy sauce and pepper paste. Saldun Village’s soybean blocks are made with the environmentally-friendly organic soybeans grown in clean water and clear air and are sold as Saldun Village’s original brand.
