The native pig of Cheju is called "Blackpig" because the bristle is black.
Grazing naturally in the Cheju-Hanra mountain using organic farming or pollution free pesticide, the quality of meat is very good and even the fat of pork is delicious, the nutrition of meat is rich and the taste is more gloat than general pork without peculiar pig smell.
Although the raising period of native pig of Cheju is 2~3 month longer and the breeding cost is larger than general pig, the pork is superior in taste and nutrition than general pork, especially the meat is juicy and delicious.
