Introduction

Agyang Daebong persimmon which used to be a present for the king in the old days has great taste, color and appearance due to plenty sunshine. It acquired a quality certification from the government.   

Agyang is believed to have carried out one of the first test cultivation of Daebong persimmon due to its mild climate and fertile soil. Daebong persimmon used to be called Japanese persimmon, Hajjiya for a while but was renamed in our own language. It boasts proudly about its unique sweet taste which can never be compared with persimmons of other areas. It is surely the proud of Agyang.

Introduction

Cultivated with a fresh breeze in a forest of Baengnibamgol of a hillside of Mt. Jiri which is the chief producing place of chestnuts, it has a solid coat and high sugar content and provides good nutrition. It is a traditional alkaline fruit rich in fiber and tannin and you can eat it both raw and roasted. It can also be used as a cookie.
