Yeongjeon Yellow Earth Pears are the leading specialty of our village and are very popular among many people with great taste and sweetness. Yeongjeon Yellow Earth Pears grow in the oceanic breeze of all seasons to develop less freeze and diseases.  Also, as they are grown in well-drained deep soils with suitable amount of sand content and high-quality yellow earth with moisture and microorganisms, their peeling is thin and the fruit is juicy and sweet.  We introduced natural organic methods of injecting herbal extracts and Eastern medicines to be certified for environmentally-friendly quality.  In 2000, they received a high prize at Fruit Appraisal of Chungcheongnam Province.
