They are also called Doja in Korean. They are warm fruit with sweet
and sour taste. They are classified into white peach and yellow peach. For
fresh fruit, juicy and soft white peaches are mostly used and firm yellow peaches
are used for processing such as in cans.
▶Picking Good Peaches - Observe if they have bluish color.
- First step is to purchase clean white or yellow peaches.
- Generally creamy-white and reddish with fine hairs throughout. Juicy and big
- Size should be big with even colors.
- It should be soft and juicy. Good peaches are symmetrical in appearance and free of damages.
▶Eating Tasteful Peaches
When served too cold, they are less sweet. It is best to keep them refrigerated for 2~3 hours before eating.
